A 1980s telephone bench made by Chippy Heath, a British manufacturer based in High Wycombe. Made of teak, this stylish bench, named the Chippy Nordic, was designed to provide a comfortable place to sit whilst talking on the telephone, back in the days of non-mobile phones which couldn't be carried around the house. Nowadays it makes a perfect hallway seat to put on your shoes, with storage for keys, umbrellas and other handy items behind the drop down door. It has replacement green wool upholstery and iconic 'Chippy' wipe-clean whiteboard for reminders, with pencil slot.
The bench is in excellent condition with very minor signs of use. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
