A light oak bookcase or display cabinet from the first G Plan range, Brandon, designed in the early 1950s. The bookcase has sliding glass doors, 2 adjustable shelves, and the sloping front that features in a lot of the Brandon pieces. Stylish and great quality, this bookcase still looks contemporary and modern, even though it's now 70 years old.
The bookcase is in very good vintage condition; there are virtually no marks to the wood, and no scratches or chips on the glass. There is a small area of veneer repair on the back/bottom/right corner (see last picture). The gold G Plan stamp is faded but still on the underside of one of the shelves. There is also an inspection stamp on the back. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
