This is a charming cabinet designed to hold vinyl records (both LPs and 45s), made by Homeworthy in the 1950s. The body of the cabinet is veneered in medium oak on a teak frame, and has lovely colour and grain. It has brass knobs and brass trim on the black edges.
Inside are 4 compartments for vinyl albums, and 1 smaller compartment originally designed for vinyl singles, which could also be used to store files and documents. There's a small drawer intended for a spare stylus, or it could be used for pens and stationery.
The cabinet is in very good condition; the body has been stripped to reveal the lovely grain and finished with oil and a protective wax. There are small signs of use and very minor repairs to the veneer on the base of the sides. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
