A 1960s dressing table (or desk) designed by Danish-born Cyril Rostgaard for London-based Harris Lebus in the 1960s. The range was called Europa and was inspired by the Mid Century Modern designs coming out of Denmark at that time.
The sleigh legs, handles and mirror frame are all solid teak. The top, sides and drawer fronts are all finished in teak-effect wood veneer, The triple mirror has teak handles at the bottom of each glass; the middle section tilts, and the 2 end sections swivel, to improve visibility. The item has 3 drawers on each side, and a hidden central drawer with a removable jewellery tray lined in original blue velvet.
If you would prefer to use the item as a desk, the mirror can be easily removed, however it does leave 4 small holes in the top surface of the desk - these can be filled before delivery if requested. The hidden drawer can be removed to give additional knee height, if required.
Please note that the dressing table is in overall good condition but does have some signs of its age - there are marks behind the glass on all 3 mirrors, and 2 areas on the edge of the table surface have become slightly bumpy. There is one small area of discolouration also on the table top. Please examine all of the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
