1930s Mahogany Bagatelle Game, 'Holey Bogey' by Abbey Corinthian, Dated 1932

A large and very attractive mahogany tabletop Bagatelle game, made by Abbey Corinthian in the 1930s and named the 'Holey Bogey'! This game is in full working order, coming with its original wooden cue / 'shove' and 19 metal balls, but would also look great as a decorative item, either leant or hung up on a wall. 
 
The game has a covered channel along the bottom to store the balls, and a channel up the right side which is the ball 'launch'. This game doesn't come with a spring - the cue or 'shove' is used to push the ball up into the playing area. This is covered with nails (all present) and recesses, each with a score. There is a metal plate explaining a summary of the rules on the base. The exact date of manufacture isn't known, but the date 14/3/32 is hand-written twice on the back. 
 
The board is made of mahogany with a wooden backing. It's in very good condition, and has been cleaned and oiled. There is one transfer missing (50, see last picture) which has, at some point in the past, been replaced with a scratched number and then a painted number.
