An original vintage round wall mirror with convex 'fish eye' centre and mirrored frame, etched with flowers. Convex mirrors have long been used to reflect light and illuminate interiors, and mirror frames have enjoyed a revival in recent years, but this is an original mid century example, believed to date from the 1950s. It has a wooden back, painted white, with a brass fixing.
Dimensions: Diameter 41cm, Depth 4cm.
The mirror is in good vintage condition with no foxing. There is a small chip to the back of one of the 4 frame pieces, and a tiny chip in the piece next to it, but these are minimally visible (please see last 2 pictures for close-up view). Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
