1960s Light Oak Desk with Lidded Compartment, 3 Drawers; Mid Century Vintage
A vintage desk from the 1960s, made of honey coloured solid oak and oak veneer. This neat desk takes up a relatively small amount of room but has lots of work space and storage. There is a useful compartment in the top with a hinged lift-up lid, plus 2 shallow drawers and one deeper drawer. The rear of the desk is finished as well as the front so looks equally attractive from any direction.
The desk has a solid oak frame and drawer knobs. The top, back and drawer fronts are oak veneer. The hinges are brass. The desk is in very good vintage condition; there are some minor marks and veneer chips, but most of these are in inconspicuous places (please see last picture for one small repaired chip to the top surface).
