A charming mid century 1960s print of a steam traction engine in its original black wooden frame with real glass. The illustration, drawn by artist Stanley Paine, originally appeared in a 1961 book entitled 'Traction Engines in Retirement'. The lithograph depicts a side-profile illustration of the steam traction engine 'Peggy', designed in 1904 by William Fletcher and made by Clayton & Shuttleworth, with technical specifications beneath. In lovely vintage colours on creamy white paper.
 
In overall very good vintage condition - there are some water marks along the lower edge of the paper and minor signs of age to the frame. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
