70s True Vintage Jacket and Skirt Suit by Glaser UK 8

70s True Vintage Skirt and Jacket by Glaser
 
This skirt and jacket set can be worn as a suit, or as separates for a more casual look. It was made by Glaser, England and at some point a secondary label 'Academy Costumes London' has been added. 
 
The suit has a geometric navy blue and green pattern against a white background. Piping on the jacket is navy blue, and buttons are black and gold. It has 2 flap pockets. There are 2 buttons at each cuff.
 
The knee length skirt has 3 front pleats and is lined with purple polyester which has faded to maroon near the hem (however this can't be seen when worn). It's fastened with a side zip and button. 
 
The suit is marked as a vintage UK size 12, but probably more suited to a modern 8. The label gives the size as Bust 87cm / 34", Hips 92cm / 36". For more detailed measurements please see below.
 
The label identifies the fabric as 100% polyester, to be washed at maximum 50 degrees.
