A beautiful small jewellery box dating from the 1870s, with delicate wooden inlay featuring birds, flowers and leaves. The box is olive wood, veneered in birds eye maple, box wood and thuya wood. Lined in burgundy moiré silk and velvet, it has a working lock and original key. It's a perfect size for a small jewellery collection, or maybe to present a gift.
