Chunky Vintage Teak Lamp Base with Brass Bands, with New Green Wool Shade

A solid teak retro lamp base, dating from the 1960s / 70s, paired with a new wool drum shade. This is a really stylish lamp made of solid wood, turned into 3 sections, separated by brass bands. The lamp has been fully rewired, and comes with a new brass lamp holder. The shade is sage green and natural wool in a herringbone pattern.

Overall (with shade): Height 55cm, Diameter 30cm.

Base (without shade): Height 41cm, Diameter 14cm.

The lamp is in very good vintage condition; the wood has been stripped, oiled and waxed, and the brass cleaned. It has been rewired with a new lamp holder and white flex. There are 2 switches, so you can turn the lamp on either using the inline switch on the flex, or the switch on the lamp holder. The base is covered in black baize.
