Ercol Goldsmith Vintage Dining Chair
 
Ercol are famous for their quality build and materials, and their designs have become iconic. The Goldsmith dining chair was made from 1958-85, is made of solid elm and beech, and has a high back. Although sold as a dining chair, it looks equally good as an occasional chair in a hallway or bedroom, and is makes a comfortable seat. It has press studs on the base to secure a cushion, and the 'BS 1960' British Standards kite mark on the base, dating and authenticating the chair. 
 
This chair is in good vintage condition. It has some minor signs of use but the joints are solid. It has been stripped, sanded, oiled and finished with a protective wax. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
