G Plan 1960s Vintage Hexagon Coffee Table in Teak and Black Melamine

An unusually shaped solid teak G Plan table with a lovely warm colour, elegant curved legs supporting a glass top, and a gleaming black lacquered shelf at the bottom, perfect for magazines or to display a plant. This table was designed in the late 1960s for G Plan and is a neat size, so can be used as a coffee table, end table or just an occasional table. The inverted arches show off the contrasting grain of the teak.
 
This piece has been gently restored - stripped, oiled and finished with a protective wax - and is in very good vintage condition. The original G Plan sticker is on the underside. The glass is also original and has a few very minor scratches. There are faint marks and signs of use on the wood and black base.
