Beautiful solid teak coffee table with stylish curved legs supporting an oval top with inset glass. This table is extremely well made, in a lovely warm teak colour with beautiful grain. It's a great shape to fit in front of a sofa and would look fantastic in a vintage-style or modern interior. 
 
The Astro range was designed by Victor Wilkins for UK furniture manufacturer G Plan in the 1960s and has become iconic. The oval is a more rare table than the round Astro. 
 
This table has been gently restored - stripped to bare wood, oiled and finished with a protective wax - and is in good condition. There are very minor marks to the wood and the original G Plan label is still underneath. There are some scratches to the original glass; no chips or cracks but it isn't perfect. I'm happy to provide a new, toughened safety glass for £150 - please message me if you would prefer this. Please examine the photographs and ask us any questions.
