A light oak G Plan sideboard, part of the first G Plan range, the Brandon, designed in 1953 by V B Wilkins. Model number B833, it was designed for the dining room and features cut away shelves in the cupboards to fit taller bottles, and a removable cutlery tray in the drawer. It also has an original tea tray, a rare survivor.
The sideboard has 2 cupboards, both with internal shelf, and a drawer with compartments. The mahogany cutlery tray is lined with original black velvet and fits into the drawer. The sideboard has been restored and refinished with oil and protective wax - it is in exceptional vintage condition with very minor marks.
