A teak 4 drawer chest from the G Plan Form Five bedroom range of furniture, launched in 1970. The chest has some lovely, quality features, including solid brass hinged drop handles and a solid teak contrasting border. The top drawer is split into 2 halves, with one lined in original purple velvet for jewellery. It retains its original G Plan label.
The sleek and modern Form Five range was introduced in 1967 with a range of living room furniture designed by Roger Bennett, with the bedroom range following in 1970.
The chest is in very good condition with very minor marks - it has been carefully stripped to reveal the true colour of the teak and refinished with protective hard wax oil. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
