G Plan Light Oak 1960s Dressing Table, Large Cheval Mirror, Gold Stamp

A very attractive Mid Century dressing table by E. Gomme for G Plan, with an upright cheval mirror. Made of light oak, it has 2 generous drawers, the top drawer lined with original black velveteen and divided into 3 compartments (ideal for organising cosmetics & jewellery). There are 2 glass shelves supported by brass fittings, and a large vertical mirror which tilts. The legs are solid wood. The gold stamp inside the lower drawer dates the table to 1952-65, and the product appears in the 1962 'New Models' catalogue as model 1840.
 
The dressing table is in very good vintage condition. There is some discolouration to the brass fittings and very minor marks to the wood, including a small chip above the top drawer (see the last picture).
