Genuine Lloyd Loom Lusty Chair in Green, 1956 Vintage

An original Lloyd Loom chair, dated 1956, with vintage green paint. The Lloyd Loom process was invented in 1917 in the US, with British rights owned from 1920 by William Lusty. The unique fabric was made with paper twisted around a wire, and became extremely popular in the 1930s. 
 
This chair has been well loved, and has a shabby but charming vintage appearance. It would look fabulous in a conservatory or bathroom with lots of plants! Please examine the photographs as a description of its appearance and condition. There is a little wear to the strands on the seat and extensive wear to the paint. Feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
