Large Advertising Mirror, Original 1920s Antique Art Deco, Eugène of London

Antique Art Deco Mirror
 
This is an original promotional framed mirror, dating from the 1920s and based on a printed advertisement published in June 1920. The large mirror features a beautiful young woman admiring her new permanent wave, while her maid looks on astonished. The image is in black with pink highlights and text, which reads "L'ondulation permanente, Eugène (de Londres), permet toutes les coiffures".
 
The mirror is large and heavy, with original wooden frame, backing and brass fixings. It can be hung on a wall using the original brass loops, or alternatively stood on a mantel shelf or floor, leaning against a wall.

The mirror and frame are in original but undamaged condition. There is very slight foxing to the mirror, which only adds to its appeal (see last picture). The frame and backing have been gently cleaned but retain signs of age, which again give it added appeal.
