Metamec Starburst / Sunburst Teak and Brass Wall Clock, 1960s Vintage

An iconic 1960s vintage sunburst / starburst wall clock by mid century British manufacturer, Metamec. The clock is in fabulous original condition - the teak and brass rays gleam in the sun, and the original German movement has a gentle tick.
 
The clock has a silver face with typically 60s black numerals edged with gold, covered in domed glass. The original hands are black and brass metal. The face is inscribed with 'METAMEC' and 'MADE IN ENGLAND'. The brass and teak rays are secured to the black plastic backing, which is also marked with 'MADE IN ENGLAND'. The movement has a start/stop switch and a speed adjuster, and takes a LR14/C size battery, one of which is included. The clock is in good working order.  There are very minor marks to the brass.
