Mid Century 1960s Solid Teak and Brass Standard / Floor Lamp, Handmade Shade

A mid century standard / floor lamp in solid teak and brass with a bespoke handmade shade in vintage fabric.

Teak and brass standard lamps are style icons of the 60s and 70s, and this vintage lamp has a classic design with its double teardrop solid teak decoration half way up the brass stem, and solid teak base with 3 feet. The lamp comes with a shade made of genuine 60s vintage fabric, which casts a warm light to gently illuminate your room. If preferred it can be purchased without the shade; a matching ceiling light shade is available separately.

The lamp is in excellent vintage condition; the wood has been stripped and refinished in oil and protective wax; there is very minor patina on the brass and tiny marks on the base. It has been rewired with gold flex and a white plug, has been PAT tested and is in working order. The lamp takes a standard bayonet cap bulb (B22).
