Mid Century Wood and Chrome Storage Stool with Orange / Red Fabric Seat

Mid Century Storage Stool
 
An unusual stool, dating from the 1960s or 70s and probably originally intended as a music stool. It is made from a hardwood such as mahogany, with a padded fabric top and a chrome frame. There is a hinged door in the front with chrome handle which conceals a storage area. The fabric is red and yellow chenille.

The stool is in very good vintage condition and has been gently restored. The fabric has been sympathetically replaced with modern fabric and padding, and the wood has been cleaned, oiled and waxed. There are minor marks on the wood; the fabric is in perfect condition. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
