A colourful example of this 60s style icon, this is an orange Shattaline table lamp with red and yellow pieces. The lamp has been paired with a new burnt orange cotton shade, but can be ordered without if preferred.
'Shattaline' was an English company which patented a process to create 'shattered' resin, giving it a beautiful 3 dimensional pattern which glitters in the light, particularly when the lamp is lit. Lamps were one of the most popular items made from the resin, along with paperweights and other decorative items.
The lamp base has been rewired with a white lamp holder, flex and plug. The base of the lamp is covered in red velvet to protect your tabletop. It takes a standard bayonet cap bulb (B22).
The lamp base is in very good condition without cracks, chips or scratches. The shade is new. It is in good working order and has been PAT tested.
