An antique framed picture of a young woman holding a rose, believed to be by French artist Emile Lassalle and dating from the mid 19th century. It is either an original hand coloured engraving or a print of the engraving. The picture is presented in an ornate wooden frame in off-white, with a dark green mount. 
 
The picture is in very good antique condition. There are some age spots on the print/engraving, and some cracks in the paint on the frame, however these only add to its vintage appeal.
