Vintage 60s Rya Rug in Orange with Gold and Brown Tones Rectangular
This richly coloured vintage Scandinavian rug was made using the rya technique and as such has a long pile. Unfortunately it's lost its label, but is believed to be wool with jute backing. The abstract pattern is in shades of orange and gold with a brown accent. Measuring 145cm by 90cm, it makes a fantastic accent rug to bring a dash of mid century colour and style to your room.
The rug is in very good vintage condition - the pile is thick and without thin patches, and there are no holes or marks. There is one small (2cm) area on the back where the wool edging has come undone (see last picture), but this isn't visible from the top. The rug has been cleaned and smells fresh.
