Vintage 60s Teak and Black Telephone Table and Bench with Inlaid Glass and Brass

60s Vintage Teak Telephone Table and Bench 
 
This delicate bench seat was designed in the 1960s for those long telephone calls, tethered to a corded phone, when you wanted to sit and rest! The handy shelf was to store your phone book, notepad and pen. Nowadays, this elegant bench makes a delightful hall table for your keys, or maybe an occasional seat to sit and have a coffee while you read. 
 
There is a padded seat covered in leather-effect black vinyl, a table top with green card covered with glass, and a shelf underneath. The beech tapered legs have brass feet, and the rest of the bench is finished with teak veneer.
The item is in very good vintage condition and has been fully restored; the glass is new and without scratches. The vinyl has no splits or other marks. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
