Vintage Maclamp Twin Spotlight Floor Lamp, 1970s

This twin spotlight standing floor lamp, 'MacLamp', designed by Terence Conran for Habitat in the 1970s, has become a design classic. This lamp features fully adjustable twin spotlights, which are ideal for task work, but can also be used for general mood lighting. The arms can be raised and lowered on the top section of the pole, and the lamps themselves can be moved along the arms. The lamps can also be pointed in any direction. The lamp has white cables and base, with brushed aluminium lamps and tube. The base is plastic and weighted down internally with metal. The white box contains two independent switches so you can turn on either lamp separately, or both at once. The lamp takes two bayonet cap bulbs.
 
The lamp is in good vintage condition, and in full working order. The plastic cover on the base is somewhat aged and degraded; the plastic is quite yellowed with some scratches, dents and areas where the top layer has peeled. The rest of the lamp has minimal signs of age. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
