A 1970s hand printed mirror with a wooden bamboo-effect frame. The muted silver frame is gently aged, with cracked paint and red showing through, giving it a beautiful vintage appearance.
Braddell Enterprises (Warwickshire, UK) made a wide range of hand printed mirrors in the 1970s, often with faux bamboo frames. These have become very collectable, and this one is particularly attractive, with a black and silver hand-printed border on the glass. It has a string to hang on the wall, but can also be rested on a table top if leaning up. As the border is symmetrical, it could be used landscape rather than portrait if preferred.
The glass, printed border and frame are in very good condition. The paper tape on the reverse is slightly torn but this doesn't in any way affect its use. The original sticker remains. There are 2 metal rings on the back to hang the mirror. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
