Vintage Purbeck Pottery 'Portland' Stoneware Table Lamp | 1970s Brutalist | Natu
A 1970s Purbeck Pottery table lamp featuring the Portland pattern, part of the Brown Diamond glaze range. The lamp has a deeply textured, brutalist pattern in brown glaze over a speckled oatmeal-coloured base, typical of their mid-century designs. Purbeck Pottery was created in Dorset in 1966 by ex-Poole Pottery employees, including Bob Jefferson who created this pattern. The lamp base has been paired with a modern natural shade, but can be purchased without if preferred. We also have a larger, matching lamp available.
The lamp is in excellent condition without any chips or cracks. It has been rewired and PAT tested. The lamp takes a standard bayonet bulb. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
